mood room faq's

The Mood Room is located in Tulsa, OK. The physical location is my art studio. MOODROOMBLOG.COM  is more than my online portfolio —it’s a place where ideas come to life, people gather, and creativity flows. It’s built on the belief that art heals, inspires, and connects us. Whether you’re looking for art, DIY projects on the blog, The Mood Room Edit, where I share my favorite finds, or jumping in and joining the community to share your own projects, or simply soaking in the color, you’re part of something bigger. On the website I try to offer all the qualities that make up the mood room, creativity, inspirations, and honor, artists, and their love of creation.

what is the mood room?

who is behind the mood Room?

Along with original paintings, I offer prints, art-inspired merchandise, and coming soon, a community space. The Mood Room is not just a retail space, or portfolio for my work, but for anyone who wants to engage with creativity—whether through viewing, collecting, or sharing their own projects.

All of the artwork and content on The Mood Room is created by me, Michelle Williams. Everything I share—whether it’s tutorials, ideas, or projects—comes directly from my own creative journey. I love sharing projects because the process of making art brings me so much joy, and I hope it sparks joy for you too.

As for my look book and portfolio, I’m first and foremost a painter. My catalog is updated regularly since I’m always working on new pieces. You’ll find my work in watercolor (my favorite medium), acrylic, mixed media, and digital art. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, signed, and designed to bring bold color, balance, and energy into your space.

what does the mood room sell?

what type of framing do you reccomend?

My framing choices change as trends evolve, but right now I mostly use floating acrylic and magnetic frames for their clean, modern look. My tiny watercolor collection works especially well in groups—you can mix colors and patterns to create your own unique wall story. All of the frames I recommend are linked in the Product Recommendations section of my site, so you can easily find the styles I use.

can I commission a custom piece?

Yes, and I highly recommend you do! I try and make my art affordable for anyone who prioritizes owning an original painting and my custom pieces are only $50 more. When you commisiion a painting you get a 20 minute phone call or introductory email if you prefer, where I ask you a series of questions which help me get to know exactly what you have in mind. From there we come up with a color palette, subject, and timeline. From there, I get to work on your custom pice! The only thing you have to do is email me through the site or directly at viddypopstudio@gmail.com

what is so special about the tiny watercolor collection?

Each tiny painting is hand-painted, signed, and completely unique. Their small size makes them versatile and affordable, whether you display them individually, group them into sets, or gift them to someone special. I love the price point of these paintings. They are designed to be affordable for anyone to have a unique piece of art. And most importantly, they make a big impact for such a little painting.

do you ship internationally?

Yes! I ship worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery times may vary, but I do my best to keep it simple and affordable.

how can I be a part of the mood room community?

The Mood Room isn’t only about my art—it’s about creativity in all forms. You’re invited to share your projects, collaborate, and connect with others who believe in the power of art. Together, we’re building a space where ideas, inspiration, and creativity flourish. The community portion of the website is currently being built and should be finished by November 2025.

Do you offer art classes or tutorials?

Funny you should ask, I am in the process of creating an online watercolor tutorial and will offer classes at The Mood Room, in person, by December 2025. Join our mailing list to get updates on the class schedule.
